By This little gem is a Trident Maple Shohin that has been in training for over 15 years. It has a powerful trunk and some nice roots that I am still working to develop. I could not resist taking this picture after a summer defoliation. The leaves are twice as small as they were during our April show and the branching is very delicate. It is about 1 month after that defoliation.
