We have still been having such cool days and far too much rain. It has delayed a lot of bonsai work. Some trees may not get repotted this year. I had to get to a Japanese Black pine project before it became to late. The tree is just starting to push new buds. I used a moon pot and a wire technique that was demonstrated by Sensei Kathy Shaner. My version is no where near as elegant as hers though. On the next repot, I will have to do it better. For now, I just wanted to get the tree in good soil and start the styling later this year.

Here is a view of the garden after the storm debrie was cleaned up. Everything is waiting to explode with sun and some heat. Grapes are budding and a trident maple is already in full foliage; they were not going to wait.
