Trident Maple winter defoliation

Today I did my winter silhouette defoliation of my trident maple. It allows for the viewing of all the branch development from the summer growth spirt. I will continue to refine some of the branch structure in the top of the tree because after taking this last picture I saw heavy branches that need to be take out to create a better apex.
